ABOUT FATHER JOE'S VILLAGES

Overview:ASWH FJV Vertical Logo.png

As one of San Diego’s largest homeless services provider, Father Joe’s Villages offers a wide range of housing and services to neighbors in need—including children, parents, single men and women, Veterans, seniors and people with disabilities.

Established in 1950 to serve San Diegans experiencing homelessness and poverty, our agency has grown to include a comprehensive campus and scattered-site programs that house over 2,000 people nightly—from infants and adolescents to adults and seniors. In 2017, we provided services to more than 13,100 neighbors in need.

Father Joe’s Villages‘ mission is to prevent and end homelessness one life at a time. We are committed to delivering services that are Compassionate, Respectful, Dignified, Empowering and Empathic to neighbors experiencing homelessness. Our mission is made possible only through the efforts of compassionate staff, dedicated volunteers and generous public and private donors.
